Two Reigns - an ill-fated love story

Once upon a time there were two reigns, opposite as light and dark, and in perpetual war to each other. The war between the two kingdoms lasted for so long that nobody could remember the day it began. The ghosts of those who had fallen cast a curse on the two reigns, only the golden hour would be free from the spell. One day, during that hour the prince and the princess from the two kingdoms met. When they saw each other they immediately fell in love. But their love was ill-fated, for if they were in the others territory when the hour was over, they would turn into animals; she into an eagle and him into a wolf.
